In recent years, the Belgian Rally Championship has become Europe's strongest national rally championship. Its image extends far beyond the national borders—the reason Kroon-Oil established a strong partnership for two years as the name sponsor of the Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship.

Kroon-Oil has been active on the Belgian market since 1995. As far as sales are concerned, we serve this market with Belgian colleagues, with whom we undoubtedly share a passion for motorsport. As a result, we are closely involved in our Belgian sponsoring activities. Lubricants and motorsport are still closely linked, and high-level rally sport - which the BRC has - fits perfectly with our ambitions. Over the years, Kroon-Oil has made a name in the Belgian rally sport through rally activities by, among others: Hermen Kobus, who has been an ambassador for the brand ever since, J-Motorsport, Melissa Debackere and Kevin Demaerschalk.

Rallye de Wallonie, round 5 of the 2023 Kroon-Oil BRC season.
Maxime Potty and Renaud Herman secured their third win of the season in the BRC, further solidifying their lead in the championship. Potty held off fierce competition to claim the top spot, while Sébastien Bedoret and John Wartique rounded out the podium.
In the GT category, Romain Delhez emerged as the clear winner, and Tom Boonen impressed with a top-10 finish in his Skoda Fabia Rally2.

TAC Rally, round 4 of the 2023 Kroon-Oil BRC season.
There was some serious driving during the 48th edition of the TAC Rally! Leader Maxime Potty continues to score results in the Kroon-Oil Belgium Rally Championship, keeping him at the top of the rankings. Cédric Cherain and Bastien Rouard came in second and third respectively. Gunther Monnens made a strong impression with his Porsche 991 GT3 and finished in sixth place.

Rallye des Ardennes, round 3 of the 2023 Kroon-Oil BRC season.
Rallye des Ardennes had it all - unpredictable weather, a nail-biting battle between the top contenders, and a thrilling comeback to the Kroon-Oil BRC calendar! In the end, Estonian driver Georg Linnamäe clinched the victory in his Hyundai i20 N, just ahead of Bastien Rouard. Despite facing mechanical issues, championship leader Maxime Potty managed to secure a podium finish. What a race!

South Belgian Rally, is the second of the 2023 Kroon-Oil BRC season.
The second round of the Kroon-Oil BRC and the first race of the new Cup label. Maxime Potty and Renaud Herman immediately showed in difficult conditions, that their lead in the standings is by no means a fluke and win their first BRC round.
During an exciting final in the M-cup, Franky Boulat crowned himself with a win, after leaders Brecht Hoorne and Loïc Pirot gave up due to mechanical problems. In the Junior BRC, Tom Heindrichs was the fastest, Sébastien Incardona in the Historic category and Laurent Mottet celebrated his victory in the 2WD Trophy class.

The Haspengouw Rally, is the first of the 2023 Kroon-Oil BRC season.
On Saturday, the Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship 2023 launched with the 25th edition Rally of Haspengouw. The classic will be remembered as one of the most exciting ever, with a spectacular battle all the way to the finish flag. At the start of the very last stage, the difference between overall leader William Wagner and number two, Maxime Potty, was no more than 0.8 seconds! Potty set the fastest time, but Wagner with his Golf GTI Rally2 was overall barely 0.6 seconds faster and thus the winner of the first round of the Kroon-Oil BRC season.

Kroon-Oil BRC 2023
Next season, there are quite a few rule changes, the calendar has expanded again and a number of familiars will participate.
New concept
With 13 races scheduled on the calendar, the championship offers more features for this season. Among the 13 races, there are a number of new entries on the list: Rallye des Ardennes, Bertrix Rally and the Aarova Rally Oudenaarde.
This year's BRC includes six Championship events. However, to compete for the title, you have to drive at least 7 races. That means you have to drive a number of Cup races. In addition, you have the option to compete in the Cup.
Famous names
A number of well-known names will participate in some races this season, too. Jos Verstappen, Tom Boonen and of course some local stars, among others, will take part alongside others at this amazing rally.

Watch all recaps of the 2022 year here. The calendar of 2022 included 10 rallies. During the season finale at Spa, Stéphane Lefebvre won the concluding Spa Rally. He thereby also became the 2022 Kroon-Oil BRC champion.
